Booking a band can be a confusing process. There seems an endless choice of acts and a long list of questions to ask. Getting the entertainment 'just right' can be a worrying task. Rest assured that Gravity members have covered every imaginable type of event including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, film sets, boat trips, pubs and more.

"What will it cost me?"
Individual circumstances surrounding each event can vary tremendously due to times and travel etc.

"What kind of music do you play?"
This is largely dictated by the event. We draw songs from a varied set covering 60s classics, 70s funk, 80s rock and 90s pop. For private or corporate events we focus on keeping guests dancing with upbeat disco and classics. For public bars we will tend to take a more 'rocky' based approach. We are always more than happy to play 'special numbers' if asked at the time of booking.

"Can we see you?"
As you can appreciate viewing us at a corporate or private event would not be feasible. However, we have always made a point of playing public events to cater for this need. Feel free to contact us or check out the gig listing on our site. Many of the bands events are booked via recommendation so we can always put you in contact with former clients who recommend us.

"How Long will you play for?"
Usually 2 to 2½ hours. This will normally consist of two 45 - 60 minutes sets with a 30 minute break. However, the structure and choice of the timing is ultimately yours.

"What distance will you travel?"
The only deciding factor is your budget. We are based in the Home Counties. However, we will travel to most areas of the UK, although additional travel and accommodation expenses would need to be incorporated in the fee.

"Will the band have any special requirements at the event?"
We will need appropriate space to set-up our equipment (around 15' by 10') with at least four domestic 240 volt power supplies. The provision of a changing area would also be required for any formal dress events.
